Couples Therapy Expert in San Diego and Online

I help adult survivors of childhood trauma and their relationships, including high conflict couples regain peace in the most heated areas of their relationship. I do this by helping couples apply researched best practices and strategies to cut through the filters and facades that keep problems perpetuated. I am an active, engaged and supportive therapist ready to intervene before problems boil over in sessions.

As a Certified Gottman Therapist, my clinical experience is with military, first responders and healthcare workers and their families to help manage the assumed stress that work for society implies. I have helped couples avoid divorce or separation and process through regrets, betrayals and hidden addictions.

I have trained at a seminary, but I do not impose spiritual or theological views on anyone. I like working with people who want to bring their faith and feelings together. If this not something you want to do, that is completely ok for me as well. I also have expertise for those deconstructing, faith shifting or re-imagining faith after seasons of doubt.

My practice does not discriminate based on race, age, religion, ability, marital status, sexual orientation, sex or gender identity. I aim to be an affirming space and believe everyone is deserving of quality psychological and relationship care.

I have a blog with posts to help with depression, suicide, effective journaling, shame, and anxiety.

The best way to meet with me is to either send me s message or Schedule a Free Consult and we can go from there.

I am looking forward to meeting you!
